Aunt Karen

Karen and Ken had a BBQ at their house so we packed up the kids and made the trip to Lake Orion.  There were lots of kids and backyard toys for Molly to play with.

Aunt Karen made sure everyone had a good time, especially Megan.

Megan got to show off her cute summer outfit.

Zoo

Went for a quick trip to the Zoo. We got there too close to closing time to really walk around and look at animals, so we just went to the kiddie playground they have there.

Molly had a really good time on the little rocker and the huge playscape they have there.

Leah

Visitors are always welcome.  Gifts are unnecessary but appreciated.  Megan thanks you for the cute outfits!

Bath

Megan really likes baths, even more so than Molly did when she was a month old.  It really relaxes her.  Molly took her first baths in the winter so maybe that's the difference.

Shh. Baby is Sleeping.

We really have to watch what we say and do around Molly since she can copy us pretty well, including what to do around sleeping babies.

Great Grandma Caird

Molly and Megan visited their Great Grandmother. She loved holding Megan and was amazed at how much Molly has grown.

Pool Party

The Remeika and Molloy kids went over to Kathy's "Backyard Funland" to play on all the slides, playhouses and pools she has set up.

Molly can climb and slide all by herself now.

They all had a great time, but I think Calvin needs to learn how to hide better!

Bubbles

Molly loves bubbles!

She has learned how to puff up her cheeks and blow them herself.

More Fun at the Park

Did I mention Molly loves the park?

There are jungle gyms and slides, but she is happiest on the swing.

Visiting McKenna

Colleen, Molly, and Megan went to visit the Molloys.  They have this trampoline thing that Molly really had fun with.

As usual, Molly and McKenna had fun together.

Nahodils

Nicole, Savannah, and Kayla came by to visit Megan.

The kids especially had fun holding her.

Sally

Sally visited Megan before she and Colleen were off to Karen's bridal shower. It was my first time alone with both kids. It was a challenge to juggle lunch, diaper changes, and giving the right amount of attention to each. It was really nice when both babies decided to nap at the same time!

It was only a few hours, but I give kudos to moms that do this 24 hours a day.

Cognitores

Joe, Carrie, and Joseph brought dinner. We tell people that it is unnecessary to bring us stuff, but they always bring food, presents, and good times. Joseph and Molly had a great time playing together.

Farahs

Al and Lydia brought us dinner Thursday night. With twins of their own, it was nice that they would spend one of their free nights with us. Thanks for the good times!

Julie

Julie came all the way from North Carolina to see Megan (and maybe to see some of her family too ;)






Along with a present for Megan, Molly got some bath markers that she LOVES!







Because of those markers, getting Molly out of the bath became much more difficult...

Happy Mother's Day!

It's mother's day. Time to recognize the tireless, devoted, and loving jobs mothers do for their children.







I'll be honest. Colleen does 90% of the work it requires to take care of these kids and loves 100% of it. Molly and Megan are lucky to have her as their mom!

Bath Time

Megan had her first bath. She didn't like it very much, but stayed pretty calm throughout. I remember Molly being a lot more squirmy.

Budry

Our friend Nicole stopped by to see the new baby.

Kisses

Molly is really fascinated by her little sister. She loves checking her out and there are plenty of kisses for her!

Caught Molly hiding by the tub. She didn't do this before the Kniola girls taught her how...

Cord No More

Megan looks different every day. I don't know if it's less baby-like or more personality, but you can almost see her growing up in front of you.

The last of her umbilical cord fell off last night. I found it in her pajamas during a diaper change.

Kniolas

Melanie, Ashley, and Brooke visited and brought a chicken parmesan and orzo dinner. It was one of those meals that even though you're full you can't stop eating it was so good. Thanks Mel!

Molloys

Sara, Kaitlyn, and McKenna stopped by to see the new baby. Colleen says the too short visit was super fun!

Happy Birthday Belén

Colleen and Molly went to Belén's birthday party. She pretty much knew how to work the toy computer (wonder where she picked that up?).





She also had a lot of fun playing with the piano.

Joneses

Micah, Brooke, Nolan, and Rhea stopped by for a visit. Brought breakfast too!
