Our Tree

Once again we had a mini Christmas tree. Molly is a little taller now (comparison photos coming up).

She still has a winning smile!

Merry Christmas!

Molly and Megan got some good gifts from all the family we had in town. My sister and her husband from California, my Uncle from Arizona, and the cousins from New Jersey were here. It was great to have so much family together.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone!

Christmas at the Smith's

We went to Kathy and Marc's house for some holiday cheer. There was good food and gifts. Calvin enjoyed the sleeping bag we got for him.

Kathy, Molly, and Calvin got comfortable watching holiday movies.

It was a great morning. Thanks Kathy and Marc for the good times!

Red Wings Outfits

My sister and her husband were in town for the holidays and we thought it would be fun to dress the babies up in Red Wings garb for a photo shoot.  Trying to get three babies to cooperate was challenging...

We got a good picture out of Megan.

This was the best with the three.  It's a pretty good picture, but getting them all to sit and smile was not possible...

Cooking Breakfast

I was making pancakes and turkey sausages for breakfast and Molly did not want to be left out of the action.

After stressing that hands and fingers stay away from the cooking surface (and nervously being ready in case she forgets), the cooking commenced.

She got the hang of rotating the links, pouring batter, and flipping pancakes pretty quickly.  It's amazing how fast and eager she is to learn and do things.

Happy Thanksgiving

We went to the Morgans' for Thanksgiving and had a super fun time.  Ken deep fried a rather large turkey which was delicious!

Molly and Calvin sat at the kid's table and had a variety of foods to eat.

Megan really enjoyed herself.

Molly and Calvin had fun playing together.

Thanks to Karen and Ken for a great dinner.  The time and effort required to put this together was apparent.  Kudos for an awesome evening.

Happy Birthday Molly

Molly turns two!  She had a super fun day.

It started with one of her favorite breakfasts; pancakes, strawberries and blueberries.

Her aunt Kathy was kind enough to host the party and make this awesome Brobee cake.

Megan also got into the spirit.

She got plenty of presents.

Calvin was not too happy to have to wait for cake.

Blow out the candles.

Mmm. Cake.

Cake face.

Yay for cake!

Playing with some of the decorations.

It was such a good time.  Thanks Kathy for letting us use your home for the celebration.  Molly always has fun over there.

Pulling Herself Up

Megan pretty much pulls herself up to a standing position just about every chance she gets now.  I suppose the walking is coming soon...

In case anybody missed it, here's Megan Halloween costume.

I am told she stole the show that night.

Happy Birthday Grandma

Here are the kids helping celebrate grandma's birthday.

Where are you kids?

Molly and Calvin went trick-or-treating on Halloween and then were helping pass out candy. Towards the end of the night fewer kids were showing up so they were shouting out the door, "Where are you, kids?"

Of course we didn't think to take video while they were both yelling it, but here's Molly saying it a couple of times. It's a grainy cell phone video, but you get the idea...

Happy Halloween

We had a fun time this year.  We went to my parents' house and visited the neighbors.  We then went to Marc and Kathy's house to pass out candy and do a little trick-or-treating.

Calvin and Molly got a kick out of going up to houses and getting candy.  She really got a lot of mileage from her costume!

See the photo set here.

Standing

Megan is already able to pull herself up. Not only is she crawling around very quickly, she wants to start walking!

Pumpkin Carving

Yep, this is what the big pumpkin for Megan was for.  We emptied it out, cut leg holes and plopped her in.

She didn't mind being in there and got a little taste of the pumpkin as well.

Molly helped to pick out the seeds for roasting.

Pumpkin Patch

We took the kids to pick out pumpkins for carving.  Molly was not interested in posing for pictures, but this was a lucky shot.

We picked out a nice big pumpkin for Megan.

Trampoline

Molly got an early birthday present from Tim and Nancy. She loves jumping so this was a perfect gift.

Eleni

Our friend Eleni came by to meet Megan who was her usual smiley self.
